The luxury $550 million Dusit Thani Brookwater Golf and Spa Resort has made a splash on the market, with Stage 1 achieving $44 million in sales.
Local and offshore buyers have acquired over 90 apartments in Stage 1 of the 168 apartments overlooking Brookwater Golf Course. Apartments comprise large two bedroom formats with large private courtyards, and plunge pools adjoining extensive outdoor entertainment areas, balconies and patios amongst a tropical landscape environment all with views to the award winning Greg Norman Brookwater Golf Course.
Oliver Hume Joint Managing Director Marcus Buskey, who is the marketing agent for the development, said demand for the luxury apartments had been unprecedented based on both the absolute golf course frontage and the world-class luxury of Dusit Thani and the exceptional returns to investors.
“Return on equity modelling shows that this is Australia’s No. 1 investment for private investors or self-managed super funds,” he said.

“The buyer profile has been a combination of Brisbane, Brookwater and Springfield owners, as well as investors, predominantly from Melbourne, Asia and the wealthy Gulf States including Vietnam, China, India, Korea and Dubai, who appreciate the capital growth characteristics of the region and strong income yields in the local market produced by international award winning hospitality operators such as Dusit Thani.”
Dusit Thani Brookwater Golf and Spa Resort CEO and Executive Vice Chairman of Maxsen World Group (UK and Hong Kong) Richard W. Turner said the resort offered a unique opportunity for buyers who were looking to invest in high-end luxury property.
“Dusit Thani Brookwater Golf and Spa Resort redefines country club living, with sophisticated and comfortable apartments; access to a wide array of dining, spa and recreation choices, including Brookwater Golf Course; and dedicated concierge specialists taking care of your every need,” he said.
“There’s nothing on the market in Australia at the moment that offers this level of luxury or refinement and we are proud to set a new benchmark, both the interstate and international markets have been calling for some time in regards for the need for more luxury golf real estate and here it is only 20 mins to theBrisbane CBD and 45 mins to the Gold Coast, the only landmark development in Australia serviced by two international airports.”

Upon completion of all phases, The Dusit Thani Brookwater Golf and Spa Resort will feature 520 apartments, a Central Resort Pavilion of 15,000sqm, six private clubs including the Dusit Executive Club, Family Aquatic Club including water play area, Central Recreation Club, International Tennis Club, Family Club and South Rec Club, plus the 12,000sqm Retail Emporium and a world-class state of the art conference, convention and exhibition centre, all centred around Queensland’s number 1 ranked Greg Norman Golf Course.
