Imagine snagging this jaw-dropping beachfront block for $200,000? Now, it’s a home worth $28 million.
The luxury 33 Ross Crescent in Sunshine Beach – Queensland’s most expensive suburb – last traded for the six-figure sum in 1987, Domain’s property profile shows.
It is one of the largest beachfront holdings in a postcode regarded as Queensland’s best, occupying 3520 square metres, with a lawn rolling down to the waves, and lush gardens.
Sunshine Beach is home to Queensland’s house price record of $34 million, paid for a contemporary oceanside address in 2021.
With a curvy, elevated waterfront infinity pool and deck, and ocean vistas from the deep alfresco terrace, kitchen and living rooms, the position of 33 Ross Crescent is special and rarely replicated.
Agents Tom Offermann and Rebecca Offermann of Tom Offermann Real Estate Noosa Heads struck the deal. Tom Offerman, the agency principal, confirmed the sale sum but was otherwise bound by confidentiality.
In 2022, Sunshine Beach’s price growth was so extraordinary, it threatened to become the first Queensland suburb to crack a $3 million median. It is a jewel of the Noosa Shire, in south-east Queensland.
In the mid-1980’s, the average Aussie house price was $64,039, according to Finder data, indicating this block in Sunshine Beach was already an exceptional acquisition back then.
The five-bedroom house is curved towards the ocean, and with a sunroom, shaded outdoor zones and a cellar, is made for entertaining.
The upper level contains the bright communal zones and a main bedroom with a private terrace for soaking up the rolling waves.
The lower floor is where to find more bedrooms and a huge studio.
