Fresh figures from CoreLogic show the suburb’s median house price jumped 16.7 per cent to $951,000 in the past year.
Last week, seven new properties in Bundall were on the market.
Tallebudgera, Benowa, Jacobs Well and Bilinga have also experienced a rise in the number of homes for sale with the change of seasons.
“Spring is a time where the weather is starting to get warmer and people are out and about,” REIQ Gold Coast zone chairman John Newlands said.
“We don’t have as many sporting events on and people’s gardens are blooming. It’s a nicer feel in the market.”
Bundall couple Aaron and Trina Bartholomew have taken advatage of the spring selling season and are taking their property at 8 Daimler Drive to auction on September 25.
The Bartholomews gutted the four-bedroom home before putting in a new kitchen, bathrooms and flooring.
Mr Bartholomew said they decided to sell now following the sale of their former house in spring four years ago.
“You get a feel of what’s going on in the market, mainly because people are knocking at your door and we seemed to be getting a lot of flyers in the mailbox (from agents),” Mr Bartholomew said.
Paul Harland, of Ray White Surfers — Benowa, is managing the sale and said homes often presented better in spring.
“It’s important that buyers at open home have the best possible experience when determining value,” he said. “With spring comes a new wave of buyers looking for quality homes and whom want to settle before Christmas and the start of the holiday period.
“Bundall is so close and central to schools, the beach, major shopping precincts and of cause The Arts Centre that is walking distance for all culturally motivated.”
