THE Gold Coast is known for its party scene but this house takes it to the next level with a beer garden, rooftop bar, and “nightclub” style entertainment area.
Owner Rosina Mavin bought the Sorrento property at 22 Blair Athol Cres in April, 2022 drawn to the views over the Glitter Strip, Hinterland and beyond.
“When we first saw this house, the top level was just a room with carpet, and we completely transformed it to a rooftop bar and balcony.
“It was actually what first made us buy the house – the views are incredible with the Surfers skyline to one side and the water and hinterland to the other.”
“I came for a look at this house and left as the buyer,’ Ms Mavin said.
“The views, the position – I loved it all, still do.”
Ms Mavin treated her work colleagues to an all-in-one bar hop last Christmas, moving the party from the poolside “beer garden” to the media room “nightclub” then upstairs to the bona fide rooftop bar.
“It was the ultimate party night without leaving home,” she said.
Ms Mavin said the house, on the waterfront, was the perfect place for families who loved to entertain.
The four-bedroom, three-bathroom residence is packed with features with a focus on indoor-outdoor living.
There is a lower-level guest suite with a jacuzzi ensuite with direct access to the sundeck.
“We are always outside, we basically live on the deck,” Ms Mavin said.
Mitch Palmer and Sabrina Chen of Ray White Broadbeach Waters are taking the property to auction on December 9.
With a suspended concrete slab construction, the tri-level home features a grand entry with water feature, statement staircase and open-plan living and dining areas.
The media room has a built-in bar, projector and surround sound while the kitchen has a waterfall stone breakfast bar, plumbed fridge, and gas cooking.
Other features include a pool and pontoon.
