LENDLEASE’S Springfield Lakes has brought forward its final address, The Peninsula, in response to increased buyer demand in the Ipswich corridor.
According to the Charter Keck Cramer September 2015 National Land Survey Program, Ipswich land sales have increased by 43 per cent in the September quarter.
With 50 per cent of lots now sold, the remaining 320 lots range in size from 240 square metres to 1470 square metres, with land priced from $206,000 and a range of house and land packages.
Lendlease’s, Matthew Mears, said The Peninsula offered some of the best land in the area and there had been a lot of enquiries.
“Buyers are definitely looking for more choice and this unique island-like address offers an affordable price point and an enviable lakeside lifestyle with great amenities on your doorstep.
“Springfield Lakes is the number one selling residential community in the Ipswich corridor, leading the way in master-planned communities.
“It offers a place to belong; an excellent opportunity for residents to live, work, learn and play.”
Chrishan Perera and his wife, Senitha, who currently live in Springfield Lakes, have just purchased their second home at The Peninsula.
Chrishan said their first visit to Springfield Lakes in 2013 was the day they found the perfect block of land to build their first home.
“We were really impressed by the affordable options, amenities, established community and the fact that we had everything we needed right on our doorstep.
“I now work at the new Mater Hospital as Head Chef so being close to work has definitely influenced our decision to build our dream home at The Peninsula.
“We have been able to afford to buy a bigger block of land and are planning to build a double story home with a lot more space for the future,” he said.
“We absolutely love the location and really enjoy our evening walks around the surrounding lakes and parks.”
Some of the lots at The Peninsula offer distant mountain, lake and wider Greater Springfield views, with access to green open spaces, two parks and close proximity to Discovery Park.
Springfield Lakes is currently home to more than 15,800 residents with 30,000 people expected to call this award winning master-planned community home.
