Tessa Developments and Excel Development Group are poised to launch their new project, the $22 million Ascot Residences Brisbane.
The project at 19- 27 Onslow Street was designed by multi-award-winning Brisbane architect Peter Willis from Red Door architecture.
It consists of 34 two-bedroom apartments ranging in size from 97 sqm to 180 sqm.
Brendan Tutt, Managing Director of Tessa Group said: “Our companies are very particular in the projects that we get involved with as we are very protective of our brands.
“Ascot is a blue chip suburb and one we are very familiar with.
“We only want to be associated with the highest-quality projects and we work hard to ensure design and living are our first objectives, we need to deliver this to our clients, they expect it from us.
” Ascot Residences Brisbane was a unique opportunity in the fact that we were able to acquire half an acre of land in Ascot through an off market transaction – this is very rare.
“We worked with our architects over many months to ensure we did not over-develop the site and furthermore we moved away from the standard smaller one bedroom units most developers are doing in the current market to provide a development featuring only large apartments.
“Ascot Residences Brisbane averages out over 115 sqm for each apartment, these are big apartments, they really are a home. We have also included a large exclusive rooftop residents area, something very rare in a project of this size.”
Mr Tutt said he had already been approached by buyers wanting to combine apartments.
“We have had local buyers looking at how to combine apartments to give them even more space, and we love working with our clients to create unique spaces, the local market is strong and our natural market following provides a lot of our enquiry. A lot of developers focus on the investment market, this is not what we do, we like to create liveable spaces and we design for owner occupiers, we have spent over 12 months just perfecting the design of this project as we believe this is great for investment too.”
Hutchinson Builders has been appointed to build the project with construction set to commence in 10 weeks.
Ascot Residences is the latest project in the Tessa project portfolio of 250 apartments and townhouses totalling over $150 million in Brisbane projects.
