Residents of a brand new, high-rise complex on the Gold Coast won’t need to own a car.
Under construction and due for completion in 2026, the apartments at 26 Vista Street in Surfers Paradise will have electric cars on-site for residents to use at their disposal.
A spokesperson for tech transport provider Outbound tells Nine that Polestar vehicles will be readily available to residents as part of the brand’s new partnership with Vista.
Reported benefits of driving electric include reduced traffic noise, an improvement in air quality, lower running costs, less maintenance and higher efficiency.
This will be the first Queensland location for Outbound and the first location where Polestar, and not Tesla, vehicles are made available.
Residents will get access to a fleet of electric vehicles that can easily be reserved via the Outbound app. Think of it as Uber, except you do the driving… and it’s free.
This is just one of a number of green initiatives developer MRCB International has in store for 26 Vista.
As stated on the Domain listing for 26 Vista Street, apartments start from $684,000.
Buyers have the choice of one, two and three-bedroom apartments in a 51-storey high complex that all offer “luxury living”.
The interior aesthetic takes on a coastal feel to match its beachfront setting. A neutral palette features throughout the space with a focus on floor-to-ceiling glass, clean lines, sheer drapes and subtle gold accents.
The communal areas include a “wellbeing precinct” with a gym, pool, spa, outdoor yoga space, sauna, steam room and resident’s lounge.
Surfers Paradise is in the heart of the Gold Coast and is known for its nightlife, cafes, restaurants and pristine coastline.
Domain’s House Price Report for the September 2023 quarter reveals the median unit price for Surfers Paradise is $615,000.
